Future of a Blog & MORE Give-Aways!!

5.03.2016

It was so nice reading your comments yesterday and meeting some of you for the first time!  WELCOME!  Yesterday I talked about the History of this Blog. Where it started and how it has changed my life.  Today we discuss the Future!!

After much thought and many promptings (read: violent pushes) from the Spirit, I have decided to expand the vision of this blog in a major way!  After I attended the LDS Blogger Workshop I was inspired to make a short survey for my current readers to know which parts of LDS Life they need the most help with. What areas would they like tips, tricks, advice, printables, and schedules for.  And you guys gave me some amazing things to think about!

I took furious notes, printed a blog calendar to keep myself organized, made lists, did research, reached out to other LDS Moms and bloggers, and came up with what you can expect as this blog moves forward!  I want this to be a place where you find useful, practical, and easy ways to make life a little easier in a variety of areas!

What I have realized is that I am my target audience.  A frazzled, worn out, sleep-deprived, Mormon Mom.  Trying her best to juggle the many hats we wear as a parent AND as an LDS church member.  I want to make your LDS life a little bit easier and mine too!

FUTURE OF A BLOG
Starting next week I will be following a posting schedule. Sunday mornings I will share the new FHE lesson for that week. Then on Tuesdays and Fridays I will share some amazing new posts with you. Here's a list of just some of the ideas, tips, freebies, and other awesomeness coming to this blog in the future...
  • Family-friendly, easy, inexpensive meals and recipes
  • Tips for growing a practical (and HEALTHY) food storage
  • Super-simple 72 Hour Kit ideas
  • Free printables and handouts for your callings
  • Freezer Meal tips, tricks and recipes
  • Visiting Teaching tips and printables
  • Steps to a better LDS life including marriage, personal time, scripture study, exercise, etc.
  • Family activites you can do together with all ages
  • Ideas for FHE's even when you don't have kids at home
  • LDS book reviews
  • Sharing products I love that make my life easier
  • Crafts for kids
  • Interviews with amazing LDS authors, bloggers, etc.
  • Parenting advice from a Mommy Panel comprised of women of all ages, with all sizes of families, and from different walks of life (I'm so excited about this one)
  • and MORE!

I am going to be doing a full review of this book soon for you, but let's just say you will LOVE it! And it's got a perfect 5-stars on Amazon, so I'm pretty confident. Best-selling author, Emily Belle Freeman invites readers to create a more Christ-centered home through a series of twelve stories featuring Jesus teaching in the home, including the houses of Zaccheaus, Jarius, and Peter and houses in Galilee, Jerusalem, and Capernaum.

02. Child of God Digital File from Momo Prints.
For a few years I have had a shop for modern LDS prints.  This was the very first print I designed and it stays a classic and best-seller!  Wouldn't you say it's the very first song every LDS child learns?

(Pssst.....here's a special coupon code from Momo Prints to help celebrate my re-launch!)

03. Press Forward wooden sign

This is a cute wooden sign for any home, but especially meaningful for Young Men and Young Women since it is the theme for 2016!  It can be hung on the wall or stand on it's own.

(Pssst.....here's a special coupon code from The Wood Connection to help celebrate my re-launch!)
