Mother's Day is right around the corner!  It's really sneaking up on my this year.  I thought I would share some great gift ideas to buy for your wife/mom - or if you ARE the wife/mom you can ask for some of these items.  You might even just send the link to this post to your husband...why complicate things, right?  These are all items I have purchased myself and love or are on my personal wishlist!

I Am a Mother by Jane Clayson Johnson
I read this book when I was a brand new Mom and was still finding my footing as far as being a Mom goes.  This is written beautifully and is completely.

Mitten Strings for God: Reflections for Mothers in a Hurry by Katrina Kenison
This is my very favorite Motherhood read. It is a MUST-HAVE for Moms with young children.  You will love it. I promise.

To Mothers: Carrying the Torch of Faith and Family by Jeffrey and Patricia Holland
This is new this year so I haven;t read it yet.  But, I mean, it's written by Elder Holland and his wife.  It's going to be AMAZING.

Temple Clip Bracelet
Oh my goodness. This is genius!!! With an elastic band, simply slip on, then clip your family name card and it won’t get lost or crumpled when you go through the temple.

Missionary Mom Necklace
When Mom has a missionary out in the mission field a little part of her heart is always with them.  I think this is a crazy-cute necklace for Moms of missionaries!  There is a state-side version AND a version for different countries.

Spirit of Elijah Necklace
If your Mom, Wife, or Grandmother is a Geneology/Family History Buff, this would be such a great gift! I love LDS jewelry that is subtle and not screaming MORMON!  This can really be worn any time because it's elegant and simple.

Come Alive by Mercy River
I saw Mercy River speak at Time Out for Women a few years back and they are amazing!  There music is great.

Say Love by Hilary Weeks
Hilary Weeks has been making LDS music for a long time and she always delivers with her songs.

Shatter Me by Lindsey Stirling
Because who doesn't love Lindsey Stirling? We all do.

Forget-Me-Not Statue by Willow Tree AND Forget Me Not Book
Who can forget the amazing talk by Elder Uchtdorf about the Forget-Me-Not flowers. You can read or listen to it here.  Get the amazing Mom in your life this figurine and a copy of the book, which was inspired by the talk.  (The kindle version of the book is FREE by the way)

Classic Mustard Temple Bag
Holy cow, Temple bags have come a long way since I was endowed in 1997! This is so CHIC! ANd it comes in other colors if mustard yellow isn't your thing.

Mom's Storybook: Wisdom, Wit, and Words of Advice
Scraped-knee fixer, cheerleader, chauffeur, and...former racecar driver? Moms make it their business to know about everyone, but they have their OWN stories to tell! This journal makes writing fun and easy with the assistance of apps, websites, and other helpful tools designed to inspire her to write it all down for generations to come!

Tender Mercies Painting
This is a painting of a mother with her two children, and an angel supporting her. It is a sacred moment of sacrifice, endurance, and great love. This painting is also a tribute to the many tender mercies in our lives- the sweetness found in motherhood, and also the angels who come to our rescue in the form of friends and family. By seeing these tender mercies we come to know God's great love for His children.
