Changes Ahead!

11.05.2012

Hello friends!

After almost three years of posts, lessons, coloring pages and inspiration I have decided to stop posting weekly lessons on this blog.  I intended to finish out this year, but life has suggested otherwise.  My oldest is struggling in her new school and I realized after last night's Parent/Teacher Conferences that she will need much more help from her Mommy.

Let me share with you how this blog will be in future:

I am going to still post content on this blog. I do plan on sharing teaching helps, faith-based activities and other churchy fun, just not on such a stringent schedule.  I have recently been called as the new Nursery Leader in our Ward and I have had lots of ideas and helps for teaching gospel concepts to young kids I will share with you.

I will also continue to update the COLORING PAGES resource.  I plan to share gospel insights, favorite quotes and finish my 72 Hour Kit series (which took a loooong pause after the first installment).

I will finish the ARTICLE OF FAITH posters that so many of you have been waiting for.  And maybe share my thoughts after General Conference or LDS book recommendations.

I have loved all of your amazing comments, emails and support over the past three years and I truly hope my lessons have helped your family!  You will always be able to access my three years of lesson plans here as well as the otehr content already on this blog.

Thanks for reading and I hope you will continue to do so!

Thank you so much for all the time you have spent preparing and compiling these lessons. I love using them as a resource for my family. I completely understand your concern for your children, I would do exactly the same thing, (we're moms). Thanks again!!!!

Hi, we are a family interested in finding out more about the church of LDS. Where can we find more information and join in?
Thank you.

First off, good for you for making such a difficult decision and for putting your family first.

Second, THANK YOU so much for all you have done! You have truly inspired thousands of families I am sure. I love, love, LOVE this blog.

That being said, I literally got a little tear in my eye from reading this post. I am so sad to not have this resource on such a regular basis in the future. I know you have put so much work into all the posts, I appreciate you so much.

Good luck to you and your family, and I look forward to the rest of the Articles of Faith posters, as well as the other content you will continue to post.

Go to lds.org or Mormon.org where you will find lots of information and a place to request missionaries to come visit with you. Bless you and your family in your quest for truth!

Completely understand the need to take a step back and reprioritize. Not many can take that step and swallow that they just can't do it all! Kudos to you! However, I am sad that I won't be able to continue to use you as my weekly FHE source. The time and hardwork you have put into this and blessed our family immensely! Thank you for everything. Looking forward to whatever else your blog brings!

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this site via Pinterest! I homeschool our kids and I have shifted our weekly memory work to the Articles of Faith. Your posters have been awesome! I can't wait to explore the rest of what you have!

I think you are wise. I've tried to put together a few FHE lessons that I've posted to my personal blog (http://www.techiechic.net/blog/category/family-home-evening/) and they took WAY more time than I anticipated. I can't imagine how you've done the ones you have! Thank you SOOOO much for all the t and effort you've put into these lessons. This site is an invaluable resource and I'm sure it's blessed the lives of many. I've done a few of your lessons and it's so wonderful to be able to come on, find a good lesson, print it off and just do it! I can tell you put a lot of thought and effort into each one of them and they are wonderful. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
