To the woman who left the snarky comment about
the Microwave Caramel Popcorn treat on Lesson #33,
Imagine coming into Relief Society one day at church and sitting next to me. I am pale looking, with no make-up and I am clearly uncomfortable from being so pregnant in this Summer heat. I have been on moderate bed rest for the past 10 weeks and you know I am juggling my calling in the RS Presidency as well as the two toddlers I have at home.
Although I am 7 months pregnant I have clearly lost weight, 20 pounds to be exact, which testifies to continued throwing up even in my third trimester. You may have been asked to bring me a meal during my two different stays in the hospital during this pregnancy.
Now, you ask me how I am doing and I mention that despite all of this craziness in my life that my family held Family Home Evening last week about Learning in the Home. I tell you how difficult it is to attempt FHE during this time, but that we managed to have a lesson, craft, songs, scriptures and we even made some microwave caramel corn and tied it into the lesson.
To which you turn to me in disgust and say "Microwave Caramel Corn?!? Well, other than that it sounds like you had a good lesson."
Can you imagine saying that to my face?
Then why write it on my blog?
